Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling and Peter Kam Pui Tat yesterday promoted their new song NO ONE IS AN ISLAND, the Cantonese version of the film CONCERTO OF THE BULLY (DAI LOK SI WAI OI PUI LOK)'s Ronald Cheng Chung Kei song. Ngan Cheuk Ling said that in the film Cheng Chung Kei was bipolar. The song was about people would always have ups and downs but someone would always be by their side, no one was alone.

Ngan Cheuk Ling said that she originally wanted to write the lyrics for the new song but because she was not pleased with her work and due to the tight schedule she asked THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI)'s director and lyricist Adam Wong Sau Ping. In the end halfway through the recording the lyrics already moved her to tears. Speaking of despite the good word of mouth CONCERTO OF BULLY did not have many shows, Ngan Cheuk Ling asked everyone to support it at the movies. "Because the opening week box office was iffy, I directly suggested to the director that we need to do something. If the marketing budget was limited, I wouldn't mind doing my own make up and hair and taking the MTR to audience appreciation events. I don't want to waste the efforts of the cast and the crew."

Due to the box office emergency, Ngan Cheuk Ling took time off from her series production in Malaysia to return to Hong Kong and even stared at the box office sales daily like it was the stock market. "Earlier we were only left with one show. The cinema saw how often we attended audience appreciation and was touched. More shows were added. We understand that it is very hard for Hong Kong film to fight for advantageous shows, so I have to thank the cinemas as well."
