Carrie Ng Ka Lai, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik two nights ago attended the TVB program SZE YOU TONIGHT's taping to promote their horror film KNOCK KNOCK WHO'S THERE (YAU HAT DOH). Other guests included William So Wing Hong.

Directing and starring this time, Sister Ka Lai revealed that the film told ghost stories with the funeral, funerary paper offering and funeral make up professions. Yet they were packaged with "love" to examine the continuation of "love" after death. As for working two jobs, she took the chance to complain about Hong Kong's lack of actors and their difficulty with scheduling. Speaking of her directing style, she admitted that she used to play some supporting roles. Thus she did not like to directly express some message. Yet as a director she could strengthen the ideas that she wanted to express and make decisions about a lot of things unlike being an actor. An actor could just play the role well.

This time aside from the aforementioned actors also had Jennifer Tse Ting Ting and Kate Tsui Tsz Shan. In the film Sum Yau became a headless ghost because of an accident. In one scene she had to carry her own head. Sum Yau frequently made horror films in recent years, but actually she was very afraid of ghosts. Thus she would have to prepare mentally for the upcoming premiere. She said, "During production it could be different because the set had so many workers. Yet after editing and the music......Wow! (Are you working toward becoming the ghost queen?) No. This time I took it because of Sister Ka Lai and the CG special effects. Actually I am very interested in making an action film too."
