Checkley Sin Kwok Lam's new disciple Kitson Shum Leung Kit after working on the film TALE FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) will work with Best Actress Nina Paw Hee Ching in the new film DAI LONG TOH SA (BIG WAVE ERODES SAND) as her grandson. Kitson said that during the shoot Sister Paw attentively taught him acting and took great care of him throughout. The 18 year old Kitson a year ago through a friend met his manager and master Sin Kwok Lam. He not only thanked his master for his instruction but also knew that although the road of a martial art actor would be difficult he would rather tough it out slowly. In the end it would be better than making a living off his face.
Did Sin Kwok Lam have any expectation of Kitson? He hoped Kitson would train in kung fu and not let himself be typecast. He also hoped to make him into neither "martial art action Wang Baoqiang" or "pretty boy Wong Cho Nam".
