The William Chan Wai Ting and Michelle Wai (Si Nga) starred Emperor Motion Picture TRIAD (JAT JIK) is heating up in production.  Earlier William appeared in Yau Ma Tei in pursuit of Lam Lei, attracted several dozen neighbors to look on.  William who has been taking beatings throughout the shoot joked that this time he could finally chop someone  and it was the only scene in which he took action, so he had to properly enjoy it.  No wonder during the shoot he was very convincing.

William, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and Tsui Siu Keung's son Edward Chui Woai Dong earlier worked on location on Shanghai Street.  In the story the trio had to chase the Lam Lei played mob boss.  Tsang Kwok Cheung and Chui Woai Dong first distracted him, when Lam Lei ran into an isolated place William emerged from a dark corner to kill Lam Lei.

William during the shoot had murderous intent in his eyes as he was both ferocious and vicious.  His blows fell like rain and sent chills up the spine.  Playing a Wise Guy in the film William later said that during the shoot he took more beatings than he gave.  He joked that once he asked the director for more scenes of him hitting people, but the director said that only by taking a beating would he win people over.  He did not know whether to laugh or to cry.  He joked, "After such a long time finally I can kill someone.  I hope Brother Lam Lei wouldn't mind if I make any mistake."  However William of course knew how to hold back to make the scene even more realistic.

Would his TRIAD character die?  William kept his mouth shut and asked everyone to go to the movies to find out.  He revealed that the film will wrap in a few days.  He joked that earlier the shoot was tough, the last few days finally was more comfortable as he no longer had to take a beating.

In addition, Tsang Kwok Cheung had blood all over his face in the scene.  He said that the shoot has not been as tough on him as it has been on William and Chui Woai Dong because his character mainly used his brain and gave suggestions.  He talked more than acted so the attack scene was a rare one.  Speaking of William taking constant beatings in the film, Tsang Kwok Cheung explained that William in the film was fighting for promotion, so he often had to be taught lessons at the hands of the bosses.  Because he was the boss of the trio, he took the punishment first while he and Chui Woai Dong were helpless.
