The Gillian Chung Yun Tung and Alex Fong Lik Sun starred film FANTASTIC WATER BABES (CHOOK SHUI FU YUNG) earlier was invited to participated in the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, then it was invited to participate in the 3rd Old Town Taito International Comedy Film Festival. Director Jeff Lau Chun Wai and the cast felt honored and excited to hear the good news, as they felt it injected a shot of confidence into the film.
The film had many out takes during the production. In the film Siu Fong tried to get close to Eva Huang Shengyi through teaching her underwater breathing, unfortunately his evil scheme failed when Ah Gil exposed him and slapped Siu Fong's lips with a flip flop. During the shoot Siu Fong and Huang Shengyi exhaled face to face, which made their nostrils itch. Shengyi even due to allergy had to take medication right away to stop her running nose.
Siu Fong was no better. During the slap scene, Ah Gil went full force and Siu Fong was tearing up from the pain. Despite his swollen lips he had to tough up the scene until the director's command to stop. Then Ah Gil repeatedly apologized and Siu Fong still pretended to be mad. Ah Gil treated the team to dessert to cheer up Siu Fong. Ah Gil said, "He always likes to eat, as long as he has dessert he would forget about everything."
