The 13th Annual Shanghai International Film Festival opened last night at the Shanghai Grand Theater. Stars from around the country and the world walked the red carpet before the opening ceremony. They included the Golden Goblet Award jury member Vicki Zhao Wei, Gong Li, John Cusack, Korean stars Lee Dahae and Kim Bum, Stephen Chow Sing Chi, Xu Jiao, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi, Huang Xiaoming, Joan Chen, Wang Leehom, Li Bingbing and Fan Bingbing.

Zhao Wei appeared in a deep pink long dress and expressed that she was very happy to be on the jury and hoped to introduce more good films to the audience. In a long black dress Gong Li walked hand in hand with John Cusack and happily waved to everyone. Rare red carpet guest Chow Sing Chi along with Xu Jiao and Cheung Pak Chi carefully escorted CJ7 in their appearance. Pak Chi even wore two necklaces, one with her older son's name Lucas on it. Another rare guest Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit) promoted his new film OCEAN HEAVEN with his co-star Wen Zhang.
